Raw was on fire on November 18, 2024. Seth “Freakin” Rollins vs. “Big” Bronson Reed (Rematch). The match had a wild turn of events when Solo Sikoa came and helped Reed beat Rollins! Here, the unrest has developed between Seth Rollins and Sikoa in their upcoming clashes.
Rhea Ripley also reappeared, dramatically on WWE Raw. With a bold, one-word declaration for a WarGames Match (the same match that was part of her return). She did indeed issue a challenge on SmackDown with the intent of putting herself back at the forefront of the women’s division. The War Raiders also had a big impact. Story Development For Roman Reigns
The ongoing story with The Bloodline reached a tipping point for Roman Reigns, the Tribal Chief of all WWE. Paul Heyman, Brock Lesner’s special counsel, is either out of the loop or has allies deeper in the conspiracy than previously thought a botched phone call from Roman to Paul raised eyebrows. Since an attack in June, Heyman has been missing from television and his possible return. As well as His career being tied into The Bloodline.
WWE’s Transition to Netflix
WWE recently signed a $5 billion deal with Netflix which is expected to start in January 2025. Under this deal, Netflix will become the exclusive streaming home to WWE’s flagship series Monday Night Raw in markets such as the U.S., Canada, the U.K. and parts of Latin America. For 31 years, Raw has made the journey from linear television to a streaming service but this transition is a first for WWE. Upcoming UK and Europe Tour
WWE had also announced its biggest U.K. and European tour to coincide with the Netflix release. It is bringing live events to a few cities such as Barcelona, Dortmund, Hannover, Brussels and more starting January 6, 2025. WWE continue to build their international presence with Raw and SmackDown being filmed (for the first time ever) on live events in the U.K. and across Europe over back-to-back weeks.

WWE was worth close to $6.87 billion in 2022. In 2022, the company generated an annual revenue of $1.2915 billion its highest-ever post in history. The jump in media and operating income now totaling roughly $259 million is largely responsible for this financial success. WWE’s recent agreement with Netflix is projected to further improve the company’s economic position by growing its international footprint and locking in some level of economic certainty over the next several years.
